My Uncle Bill was courageous and strong in his battle against cancer, but I'll remember him for his kindness and easy, contagious smile. I'll miss him and never forget him.

I wish love, warmth and peace for the family. He'll be with all of us this Christmas.

Bill was special to me. He always made me feel I was part of the Davis family by offering great warmth and caring. Besides being my brother-in-law, he was my friend and I will keep his kindness in my heart. To Linda, Natalie and Leslie, I offer my heartfelt sympathy.

We first met Bill and Linda in Lockport, Il. Bill was always a very special and kind person. Our paths with Texaco crossed several times, and it was always a pleasure working with Bill. We wish Linda and the family God's compassion and love during this difficult time.

Bill had such a sweet & caring soul. I wish he could have stayed here with us all longer, but it was time for him to leave his temporary home & go home to the Father. He touched so many lives & left us all with wonderful memories. I will miss talking with him & seeing his great big smile when the families gather together on special occasions. I believe he is in a much better place now with a new, pain-free & glorious body. He will be missed very much. Just know that I am praying for peace & understanding for Linda, Natalie, Lesley, and all his other loved ones.

What a treat to get to talk and email with Bill this past summer after his high school's class of '66 reunion. Bill grew up 2 houses from mine, & we played on an all-star baseball team in little league. In fact, he went with our family on a vacation that was part of playing in the state finals. He was a very nice person, and what struck me recently was the tremendous courage he had even in illness. Our thoughts and prayers to the family.
