Lucina "Tita" Coronado Date of Birth: Fri, 06/30/1939 Date of Death: Sun, 01/22/2012
Former Texas and Monterrey, Mexico resident Lucina Coronado (“Tita”), 72, died on Jan. 22, 2012, of natural causes at her daughter’s home, Maria L. Guajardo, in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Coronado was born on June 30th, 1939, in Monterrey, Mexico to Manuel and Adelina Alvarez. Lucina had one brother, Francisco, and one sister, Silvia. Lucina married Hector Coronado in Monterrey, Mexico. Lucina completed a Commercial Administrative Assistant Technical Career in Monterrey, Mexico but always chose to be a house wife. Lucina was a very strong willed woman who did not let life adversities dampen her spirits and would find a way to accomplish her goals. She is survived by her husband, Hector Coronado and her children, Hector, Maria, Jorge, Jose, Jaime and Ana. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren and one Great-grandchild. The visit and viewing for Lucina will be held at "Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home" located at 9926 Jones Road Houston TX.77065 Wednesday Jan 25th, 2012 from 5PM to 8PM. Thursday Jan the 26th a Funeral Mass with the body being present will take place at "Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church" located at 10135 West Rd. Houston TX. 7764 Lucina's body will arrive to church at 12PM and the Mass will start at1PM. After the Mass we will make our way to "Woodlawn Cemetery" located at 8010 Katy Fwy. Houston TX. 77029.

    Abuelita,

    First i would like to thank you for being a wonderful grandma. No matter what was goin on at the time you made sure to call me on my birthday every year. I will miss that the most not just the birthday wishes but the sound of your voice. I wish you were here but i know your in a better place and no longer in pain. You may be gone from this world that we live in but you'll always be in our hearts and minds. Please watch over our family and keep us strong in this extremely difficult time of need. I love you abuelita. Remember im not sayin goodbye but instead ill say see you later.

    Madre mía,
    Aunque sabíamos que su partida era inevitable
    Aun así, duele saber que no esta físicamente con nosotros, doy gracias a Dios por dejarla descansar y espero esté viendo y cuidando a toda su familia.
    Gracias por guiar a todos mis hermanos y hermanas y a mi, a ser los adultos responsables que usted nos enseño a ser.
    Yo se algún día nos veremos de nuevo, hasta entonces estaré esperando el día de mi llamado para compartir mas días de alegría eterna con usted mi Madrecita amada.
    Extrañare mi sopa de fideo y guisado de puerco, pero mas a usted, sus consejos y lindos regaños que tanto me ayudaron en la vida.

    Mi querida Madrecita, por siempre te recordare con mucho Amor. Como quisiera que este proximo 30 de Junio estubieras conmigo como los 42 anteriores pero se que ya estas en mejor vida. Siempre fuiste el mejor de los ejemplos para mi en esta vida y me demostraste como saber ser un buen hombre y como saber luchar contra toda adversidad en esta vida. Descansa en paz y cuidanos a todos desde donde estes a todos los que nos quedamos con este gran dolor. Nunca te olvidare mi viejita querida.
