We enjoyed Jean's time in Florida. I wish she could have stayed here.
It was nice having another relative close by. We could drive over to see Jean & Pete would take her around to places she liked to go. Like to see the Manatees. She loved the Manatees & had never seen one up close, so he took her to Blue Springs to see them. She was thrilled.

We miss you, Jean. I know you're in a good place, hopefully we will be all together again one day.

I was so sorry to hear about Aunt Jean. Greg and I lived in Katy, Texas for 7 years and my two little girls and I would visit Aunt Jean and Bill. I remember she took me camping once when I was little. I share her love of purple.

Jean was a very special cousin to me. I will always treasure the memories I have of the times I got to visit with Jean at family holiday gatherings when I was a child to times when my husband and I with our 3 children visited Jean in Houston and what a gracious hostess she was but I especially remember the time during WWII Jean and her little 3 year old boy "Billy" lived with my mother and me while Jean's husband and my father were overseas. Jean was wonderful at keeping our moral up. We were fortunate that Jean could come to visit us in California and my children have always remembered what fun they had with her during her visit

I will never forget Jean and will always hold her in my heart.

My fondest memory of Aunt Jean is from when I was a very young girl (perhaps 7 or 8), and playing jacks with Aunt Jean on the hot summer cement outside our back door in Redding. I'm 55 now, and I can remember it like it was yesterday. She was so good to me, and I'll never forget her.

I am so thankful that I got to know Aunt Jean when I was an adult. She lived in Florida for a short time and my parents and I would drive over to see her often. She was funny and kind, and I enjoyed being with her. And yes, she loved the flea markets! Every time we went over, we had to stop by one. We had fun together. I missed her when she moved back to Texas. Aunt Jean, I love you and I pray I am able to see you again someday.
