I was good friends with Troy all through elementary school. Some of my favorite memories are playing in the big magnolia tree in the front yard. I am shocked and saddened by his loss. My family and I are so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that God will comfort and sustain you. Psalms 34:18 says that He is near to those broken at heart and saves those crushed in spirit. He truly knows the pain you feel. He assures us at John 5:28 that a time will soon come when we will welcome back to our arms those we have lost. Know that time is very near. Allow God to comfort your soul until that day arrives. Please keep His promises close to your heart. I offer my deepest sympathies to your entire family.

I never had the opportunity to meet and talk to Troy. But from knowing his brother, Cody, for almost one year, I know that Troy's heart was the same as that of his brother's. From the few conversations I have had with Cody, I knew that Troy was loved dearly. Because we all are God's children and are here temporarily on this Earth for a short time, it is comforting to know that we will all be together some day soon. To Cody, his parents, and his family and friends, cherish the good memories of Troy's life.
