I first came to know Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home following the unexpected death of my mother. While demonstrating true professionalism as I navigated making arrangements, it was the compassion and sympathy they provided that enabled me to handle the many obstacles that came my way.
Recently, a dear friend died unexpectedly. Again, I reached out to Stacey Avist in advance of her passing to be prepared for her death. Stacey stayed in touch with me for almost two weeks, even over a holiday weekend, to make sure we were doing ok and to offer any assistance they could provide. Upon her passing, it did not seem like we were working with a funeral home to make arrangements, but rather a caring friend who guided us through the process, educating us on legal documents that would be needed and how to proceed after the funeral. From her death to the Celebration of Life at a later time, Stacy and her team were with us the entire way. Never was there a sense of being pressured to complete arrangements, rather always at our a sense of someone patiently guiding you through the it. There are no words to truly express the gratefulness for this wonderful team of caring individuals who were such a blessing to us.

Cy Fair Funerals was so professional, kind and went out of the way to make me feel comfortable as I made difficult decisions. Simona Rehif made suggestions that I had not thought about, yet, there was no pressure. I have been to several services this summer, and I believe the service we had for my husband was exceptional. Every thing we were provided was on time and beyond expectations. Thank you for all you did for us during this trying time.

I can't say enough about this wonderful funeral home. Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home helped me with two funerals in the last few years; my mother's funeral in 2014 and now my husbands in July, 2022. They are the kindest, most considerate and professional people. And, they are VERY thorough. They do not let any detail slip through the cracks, even when they are working with another funeral home out of state. When you have to go through the loss of a loved one, these are the people you want standing by you and guiding you through it. May God bless each one of them for their kindness and their dedication to those of us who are going through one of life's most difficult trials. Amen

You guys were amazing to work with and brought a personalized compassionate touch with loving kindness. My whole family was impressed with the attention and care you gave us in this most difficult time in our lives. Losing my dad was so unexpected and we were completely caught off guard and unprepared.. you went above and beyond to accommodate and we just want you to know how very much we appreciate all you did for the Berry family to aide us in our great time of suffering. We do not grieve as those who have no hope but we Praise God we know that we will one day be reunited with my dad.

Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home was a great blessing in our time of need. Kathie was our wonderful guide through the whole process. She made sure we were comfortable with all the plans every step of the way. She made our wishes a priority, which was very comforting.
From the visitation at the funeral home, to the mass at our church, to the burial at the cemetery, she never left our family or our Dad. She went above and beyond what we expected. She even arranged a beautiful graveside flag ceremony and the playing of Taps.
When everything was over we discovered a box containing the sign in book, leftover tribute booklets, thank you notes, and several framed pictures they had made to use during the visitation. They even took the cards from all the flowers, wrote on the back what kind of arrangement it was, and put them in an envelope for us (to make writing the thank yous easier).
Kathie was easy to work with and even had us laughing a few times. We felt like we got very personal attention and are grateful for it.

You people are absolutely beautiful. The care and concern you took of Robert and our family was absolutely a blessing. I can't thank you enough.

Thank you for making a most difficult time in our lives run so smoothly. It takes a special kind of person to do what you do, and to do it so well.
