I have thought of Ann Souls many times over the years. Such a kind & caring lady. I met her through her son Earl Soule when we were both attending TCU. Both she & Earl are the reason I came to know the Lord & I will always be grateful that the Lord brought them & their sweet family into my life. LOTS OF LOVE, ANN SOULE!

Your mom's picture should be In the dictionary next to the word GRACE. I feel my love for the Lord and desire to serve was fueled so much by your mom. She humbly loved and served with never a complaint. As I write these words tears are streaming down my face. She was so excited to see me whenever our paths crossed, such a gift of making me feel like I was special. She was patient with all our antics in high school. I seemed to remember her looking out the window as we wrapped the house and just smiling. I cherish memories of all the hours we spent at your house in Bible Study and prayer then we out grew the house and had to move to the Chinese Baptist Church.

Always welcoming and some one you could always relate to, your Mom was an integral part on my high school experience...She was accepting and you felt at ease
around her...She was a tremendous role model and served as an example of living daily the Christian life. Being an educator/ Coach myself, setting the example
always speaks volumes more than what one says...And, that smile...that wonderful smile was a trait reflecting the character of the love and care she devoted to us...
How grateful I am for your Mom! I Corinthians 13:4-13

We sure loved Ann Soule! Such a kind and encouraging person. I will never forget the interest she took in my when I was in her 12th grade Sunday School class. Just getting to know her there was such a blessing. She went out of her way to encourage me, and speculate about my future and what the Lord might do. I can still remember special things she said to me, and compliments she gave me that I had not heard before. She had a way of inspiring you to believe that anything was possible! That was not something I heard often in the high school world I lived in. The Lord blessed me and so many others by sending her our way. Later I enjoyed ushering with her at the Pageant, and singing with Finley in the choir. Such special people.

When I spent time around Ann, I left her convinced that I was special. But of course, it was Ann that was the really special blessing, a jewel hiding there in plain sight. I am so thankful for her. She meant a great deal to me and many others.

. Your Mom and Dad were so important to Mary Ann and me as 28 year olds seeks big to serve the Lord and build our house on our the Rock. We had them as examples as how to live, serve, and love each other. 1982 was my 2st time to be a Camp counselor and your Mom told me how to do my design and print my tee shirts. Many camps later, your dad handed the 12th grade boys off to me and Mickey Macaluso...it took 2 20 somethings to do the work of one Finley Soule. For the rest of their years at HFBC, your Mom and Dad never saw Mary Ann and I together or separately that the didn't encourage us with their love and example.
My Mom went to the Lord last Veteran's Day at the age of 93. I was at her bedside with her when she left this world and have,so far, missed her every day. But like you,I have a life time of being loved and encouraged to make the remembrances be ones of joy and not of regret. Your parents knew you loved them and that they loved you that is such a gift!
Blessings to you, Sister Kathy, and the family. If we can ever be of help, please let us know and I assure you I'll be remembering y'all in my prayers.
Your Brother in Christ,
Brother Roger
