Charles Alton Lee III “Chick”, age 51, passed away of complications from cancer on January 2nd, 2018, in Houston, Texas and went home to be with our Lord.
Charles is survived by his mother, Mrs. Bettie Ozburn Lee, his two daughters, Lauren Elizabeth Lee and Olivia Paris Ann Lee, his sister Candice Lee Sorosiak and Husband Kevin, his brother Christopher Lee, his niece Stephanie Sorosiak and nephew Nathan Sorosiak, Charles’s fiancé, Michelle Domnanish, and her two daughters, Chloe and Samantha Domnanish, He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Alton Lee Jr.
Charles was born on October 4th, 1966, on the US military base in Naples, Italy, to parents Al and Bettie Lee. Charles graduated from Klein Oak High School in 1985, and went on to attend Sam Houston State University, graduating in 1992 with a degree in Business and Marketing. He then went on to pursue a career in finance.
Charles was a great family man and a loving father. He and former wife, Elizabeth (Marcie) Lee Hinkson, had two beautiful daughters together, Lauren Elizabeth and Olivia Paris Ann, who he was so proud of, loved dearly and were the joy of his life. He also took part in the lives of his fiancé, Michelle’s daughters, Chloe and Samantha. Charles was a social, active man who thoroughly enjoyed watching sports and his favorite movies, spending time with his friends and family, telling jokes and stories, and most importantly making everyone around him happy. His family and friends will always remember him as the hilarious, passionate, courageous and fun loving individual that he truly was.
The funeral service is scheduled for 10 am for greetings and remembrance with the memorial service beginning at 11 am Saturday, January 6th, 2018, at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral home at 9926 Jones Rd. in Houston, Texas. Pastor Kelly Hinkson will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Charles's life.
