Francisco Javier Estrada, a life-long resident of Houston, TX, returned to his heavenly home December 16, 2017 at the age of 53 due to complications following an unexpected house fire at their home of over 50 years. Francisco is survived by his brother, Juvencio Estrada Jr. and wife Christine, their children Matthew Estrada and wife Jennifer, Bianca, and Christina, as well as great nephews James, Aidan, and Ian, great niece Briana, and Fran’s “baby”, Bully, his beloved pit bull.  He is preceded in death by his father and mother Juvencio and Celia Estrada. Francisco was born in Houston on January 13, 1964 to Juvencio and Celia Estrada. He worked for the City of Houston for over 28 years in the Public Works Department. Francisco was a devoted son spending his days and nights caring for his mother. He enjoyed sports of any kind, and played softball every chance he got.  In 2017, Fran served as a manager for Lone Star Energy Fabrication in the Continental Summer League and won the season ending tournament.  Fran befriended most he came into contact with, and would do and give anything for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
