Guadalupe Urrabazo

Guadalupe Urrabazo, age 84, of Houston Texas, passed away on April 1, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 24, 1939 to Julian and Guadalupe Resendiz in San Antonio, Texas.

Guadalupe was known as a “firecracker” amongst her friends and family. She enjoyed being part of various senior groups where she made many friends. Together, they took senior trips and went on many travels. Aside from spending time with her groups, she doted on her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They would always be so spoiled when she was around. Also dear to her heart was her beloved furry companion, “Lucky”, who will miss her greatly.  

Guadalupe is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Salvador Urrabazo, and her siblings.

She is survived by her children; Debra Dorsett, Rita Walter (husband Kevin), Linda Doerr (husband Richard), Joseph John Urrabazo, Shelia Cardona, and Angelica Cole (husband Justin) grandchildren; David Foster, Jeremy Foster, Alex Duran (wife Alexandra), DezerRae Kelbel (husband Leo), Troy Broussard (wife Lexi Skie), Gabrielle Melchor (husband Robert), and Ace Broussard, as well as great-grandchildren; Marleigh Skie, Ryleigh Broussard, and Izabella Kelbel.

Services are under the care of Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home with a visitation on Wednesday April 3, 2024 from 5-8pm followed by a funeral service the next day, Thursday April 5, 2024 at 9am with interment at Houston National Cemetery.
