Lupe Leon,  age 78, died at home surrounded by her beloved family on Sunday, August 20, 2017.

Lupe had been a great softball player in her younger years, which inspired several young ladies in her family to play softball.  She loved cooking for her family and spending time with them.  She also had a great love for Tejano music.

Lupe is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Juana Devora Rivera, and her beloved son, Rene Razo.  She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Luis Leon; daughters, Rosemary Razo Lozano and Rosie Razo;  10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson;  step-children, Lizzie Resendez and husband Joe and their children, John Leon and his children and Rosanna Leon and her children; sister, Felis Melinder and husband Leroy, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
