On Thursday, May 20, 2021, Andres Miguel Cisneros, loved son, brother, animal caregiver, and friend passed away at age 24 years old. Andres was born on July, 21, 1996 in Woodlands, Texas and was the second born son of parents, Diana Mae Cisneros and Alberto Cisneros and went by the nickname, Andy.
At a very young age, Andy was an extraordinary boy with a big imagination. He loved playing and exploring with his siblings, Alberto Jr. Cisneros, and Alexandra Nicole Cisneros. Together as three peas in a pod, they would play outside on their trampoline, create outdoor games, or play inside with board games, computer games and legos. One of the happiest childhood memories Andy experienced was the arrival of the first family pet, a small chihuahua dog that was named ‘Nacho’ by Andy. This began Andy’s role as a compassionate caregiver for animals, a role that suited his caring nature perfectly.
Aside from animals, Andy had several different passions in his years of adolescence. He would go through different stages of being very invested with different things and put his whole heart into loving them. He went through a time of loving history and presidents; His sister Alexandra remembers seeing the biggest smile in his face when she gifted him a president bookmark from her elementary class with all the current presidents on this bookmark. Additionally, he went through a time of loving Star Wars. His brother Albert and he enjoyed playing with their light sabers, watching the movies, and playing Star Wars video games. Finally, Andy loved the Dallas Cowboys and shared this passion with his father. Both of them would religiously watch the games together on TV and got the chance to attend a live game together as well!
When Andy grew up into a young adult, his passions evolved to creative writing, reading, and cooking. He had a collection of books from Ernest Hemingway, Nathanial Hawthorne, and J. R. R. Tolkien. The books definitely inspired his writing and he left quite a bit of creative stories and personal entries that exemplified his brilliance as a writer. Andy loved good food and enjoyed cooking a variety of meals such as tacos, tostadas, and a mean egg sandwich. He also got the opportunity to work as a cook in several places and learned more about cooking for his own benefit.
In his last years, Andy gave much love to his family pets Nacho and the new dog, Chico, a rat terrier. In addition, Luna, a black stray cat that Andy claimed to be his own. He constantly took care of these animals and they adored his warm presence. Lastly, Andy enjoyed walking outside in nature. He was an adventurous soul who loved to explore and persistently preferred walking to places versus driving. His soul truly remains in the hearts of his loved ones who will continue to honor his resting body.
