Ann Boyd

Anna '‘Ann" Boyd, 85 passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Born August 19, 1936, in Luling, Texas she joins her parents Harley Holmes and Willie “Billie” Skaggs along with her sisters Betty, Francis, Doris Nell, and her husbands’ Garland, the father of her children and Jimmie who have all been called home.

Ann is survived by her daughters Glenda “Sissy” Watson and husband Curtis, Deborah Boyd and husband Leonard, Robbie King and friend Richard Norsworthy, Rae Blair and husband John, 9 grandchildren, Kyle King, Jason Pangarakis and wife Katherine, Vivica Castro, Tammy and husband James “Jr” Fendly, Eddie Cantu, Clayton and wife Sarah Watson, Bryce and wife Danielle Watson, Brent and wife Regina Watson, Scott and wife Stephanie Watson. 9 great-great grandchildren Gage, Ava, Ryder, Naomi, Vincent, Savannah, Michael, Josh, and Edmond, as well as 2 great-great-great grandchildren Evan and Ciaran, numerous nieces and nephews as well as extended family and friends.

Ann spent over 35 years working at Wells Fargo Bank until she retired. After retirement Ann became restless and she went to work for Kroger for several years before fully retiring leaving behind many friends at both companies. Ann enjoyed life to the fullest, she enjoyed country western dancing, bowling, casinos, and family gatherings. She especially enjoyed her trips to the grocery store to go shopping. She was truly the glue that held her family together and close to her heart. Ann endured multiple health issues during the last few years of her life but she remained there for her family in every way she was able. We will remember our beautiful, creative, quirky mother with love until we meet again.

Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near, still loved still missed and held so dear.
