Anthony Joseph Hoag

It is with great sadness that Anthony Joseph Hoag known to friends as “Joe” passed away on January 26, 2020, at the age of 58.

Joe was born on January 23, 1962 in Corpus Christi, TX, and was a lifelong resident of Houston, TX.  He graduated from Stratford High School in 1981.

Joe worked at several different jobs before starting his own business on April 15, 1994, QXR-(Quality X-Ray Reproductions), which he ran and operated until his passing.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Harry Judson Hoag.  He is survived by his ex-wife, Kim Hoag; his daughter, Miranda Hoag; his mother, Jo Ellen Rechner; his brothers, Chris Hoag, Mark Hoag & wife Allyson; his sisters, Michelle Maderer & husband Leslie, Teresa Reeves & husband Kent, Andrea Coody & husband Lowell, Jennifer Wiles & husband Tim; his step-brothers, Mark, Michael, and Jimmy Rechner; his step-sister, Maria McCormick; his 7 nieces and 8 nephews; his 9 great-nieces and 5 great-nephews.

Joe loved to fish, tell a good joke that he often laughed at himself, had a love-hate relationship with golf, enjoyed hanging out with friends and family while listening to and playing a little guitar and was a lover of animals.

A celebration of life will be held at 3pm on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at The Waters Church, 2710 N. Mason Rd, Katy, TX 77449.
