Bernice was born to Anton and Frances Bozon in Houston, Texas on July 29, 1933 and died peacefully on January 2, 2022.

Graduating from San Jacinto High School in 1951 she proceeded to work in the advertising department at the Houston Post where she met her future husband, Wayne Dellis.  They married in 1954 (divorcing in 1973) welcoming two daughters, Denise and Diane settling in southwest Houston and becoming members of Bellaire Methodist church.  After the girls were school age, Bernice embarked on a career in education at the HISD bldg and eventually landing a position to support the Dean of Student Services at Houston Community College for several years.  When her boss relocated out of Houston, Bernice went to work for the University of Houston in the Vice Chancellor's office and then the University of Houston Downtown in the Financial Aid office helping the students with their applications for assistance and retiring in 1996.

Bernice is survived by her sister Rosalie Null, daughters, Denise Luna/husband Louis and Diane Dellis.  Grandchildren Roman Belmarez/wife Jade; Sara McClain and husband KeAndrae, Jessica Luna and Raya Hensler.  Great grandchildren  Kyla Luna and Aria Belmarez. Nieces - Beth Ann Null Petrea, Carolyn Kemmerer DuBose, Kathey Kemmerer  Krueger, Marianne Kemmerer Saint - Nephews - David and Michael Null, Christopher and Eric Kemmerer, Keith and Kenneth Sayre and Lee Fowler.    Preceded in death by her parents, sisters Florance and Angeline, nephew Walter Kemmerer and brother in laws Raywood Null and Bill Kemmerer.

Denise and Diane would like to thank the Memorial Hermann Hospice Team - Laura Johnson/Hospice Social Services; Gayle Galasso, Hospice Lead Nurse and Stacy Major, Lead Hospice Home Health Services.   We would also like to recognize Beverly Bennett and Lynette Martin for taking loving care of our mother - many times going above and beyond what they needed to do while mother was living at Copperfield Estates. We are forever grateful to our team and will never forget them.
