Betty Jean (Debes) Battaglia

Betty Jean Battaglia was born on December 17, 1931 to George, Sr. and Ida Debes.  She attended Sam Houston High School and graduated in 1950.

Betty married Sam Battaglia in January 1955.  They had two sons, Vincent and Samuel.

Betty enjoyed playing softball and was an avid fan of baseball and football.  She absolutely loved the Astros!  Betty also had a love of bowling.  Betty's biggest love, though, was for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam; her mother and father; and her son Samuel.

Betty is survived by her son Vincent and wife Dorothy; grandchildren, Amanda Battaglia, Misty Battaglia, and Samantha Lovelady and husband Stephen; and two great-grandchildren who were the light of her life, Landon Lovelady and River Lovelady.
