Carlos Raphael Angeles Florendo passed away at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX at 8:04 a.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the age of 12 after a courageous 3 year battle with leukemia.  Carlos is preceded in death by his grandfather Josue, Auntie Joecel and cousin Nathan. He is survived by his parents, Darwin and Alma, his sister, Veronica, grandparents, Robert and Miriam and Crispina, his Aunties, Brenda, Debbie, Kathy and Berna, his Uncles, Bobby, Paolo, Daniel, David and Raul, his cousins, Phoebe, Robin, JC, Yano, Luis, Praise and Justin.

Carlos loved Star Wars, Minecraft, playing video games and nerf guns. He was intelligent, sweet and fun loving. He was a very brave boy. Carlos is our Jedi, our champion, our Bonito. We love you always and forever.

There was a boy. He was loved, he is still, completely and without limits.

 

But he has to say goodbye to that. He is ready for a higher form of love.

 

The love that encompasses all. The love of God that infinitely rewards all the love he was given.

 

So sad you have to go. Your parents will miss you, your family, your friends, all those

 

who had the privilege of knowing you.

 

But Heaven awaits and so do all of God's promises.

 

Go ahead. Go to God.

 

On earth you will be missed,

 

but the love you left, the love that left lessons of faith and fortitude,

 

The kind of love that fears nothing, the kind of love that never gives up,

 

all the love you were given, that love will not be forgotten.

 

Not by the people who gave it to you selflessly and unconditionally, tirelessly, without limits.

 

Go now Carlos, my boy. Go to God.

 

You are so young, only 12, but already you are eternal, immortal.

 

May the peace of God, the Glory of Heaven be with you for all eternity.
