She graduated from Philippine College of Commerce and immigrated to the United States in the late 1970s to the suburbs of Chicago. She spent her entire career working for Sears, first at the Sears Tower in Chicago, Illinois, then again in Houston, TX, after she moved there with her family in the early 1990's. She spent the remainder of her years as a resident of the Houston area.
Carmen enjoyed cooking, shopping, singing karaoke, spending time with her family, and going to family functions.
Carmen was a very loving and caring person and had such a big heart. She was always so selfless, ready to do or give anything she could to make her family and friends happy. It always made her happy to see others happy, and she always had a smile on her face no matter what she faced in life.
She will forever be in our hearts and will be missed greatly by all of her family and friends.
