Charles Christopher Carr born April 24, 1940 in Elizabeth, Louisiana to Curley Edward and Cleaster Carr.
Skip, as he was affectionately known, both bravely and honorably served for 20 years in the United States Air Force. He then went on to have an illustrious 25 year career in the United States Federal Services Department of Defense until his retirement.
Education was at the cornerstone of Skip’s beliefs, he graduated from Phillis Wheatley High School he continued his studies graduating from the University of Nebraska.
Proceeded in death by his: parents, one sister and one brother. Skip leaves to cherish his memory his wife Stella, sons Christopher, Sean, Spencer; daughter Robin and three grandchildren. Also left behind are three brothers and four sisters all in Houston, Texas; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Skip will forever be loved and missed by all that knew him.
