Charles James McComb, Jr.

Charles James McComb Jr. passed away quietly surrounded by loved ones on September 9, 2018.  He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lois.  Charles and Lois had two sons, Charlie III., and Robert, and his wife, Kim and granddaughters Madison and Delaney.  Brother Richard and his wife Pat, along with their three daughters, Jill, her husband Jose and their children Alexandria and Philip, Susan and her husband Tommy, and Kathleen and her husband, Michael.  Sister-in-law, Nancy, and her sons, Billy, Bobby, and John with his wife Arianna with their two children, Miriam and Matthias.  Brother-in-law Jan and his two children Connor and his wife Wendi and Robin and her husband Scott and their two children Johana and Anne.  Sister-in-law, Shirley and her two children Maurey and Yvonne.  Cousins, Betty Sue, Patricia, Jimmy, and Rebecca. 

Charles is now in heaven with his dad, Charles Sr., mother Martha, little brother, Wesley, and sister-in-law, Judy.  He lived for spending time with family and friends and enjoyed traveling to do so.  He was a proud life-time member of American Numismatic Association.  His passion was collecting coins and sharing that passion with others.  He loved revisiting his adopted home of Southern Louisiana to enjoy the Cajun food and fun. 

We remember him loving to travel often simply getting into his car and simply saying, “Point me in the right direction, and let’s go,” as he leaves his family for his final trip.
