Conrado Peji Perea was born on September 19th, 1944 in Alfonso, Cavite, Philippines, to his mother, Conrada Peji, and his father, Nicanor Perea. Conrado passed away peacefully on Monday, May 3, 2021, at the age of 76.
He is survived by his daughters Christine Raza & Husband Ali, Charlene Go & Husband John, grandchildren Zain Raza, Romail Raza, and Amber Raza, brothers Antonio Perea, Eduardo Perea, Rodolfo Perea, Nicanor Perea, Jr., sister Virginia Cabilin, and half-sister Emma Villanueva.
He is preceded in death by his wife Carmen Hilario Perea, brother Manuel Perea and Manuelito Perea, and half-sister Thelma Reynoso.
He graduated from Cavite Highland Institute in the early 1960s and immigrated to the United States in the late 1970s to the suburbs of Chicago, where he would later meet and marry his loving wife, Carmen. He and his family made the move to Houston, TX, in the early 1990s, where he would go on to spend the remainder of his years.
In his younger days, Conrado was known to be one of the best basketball players in his town. He was a phenomenal scorer. His ability to shoot and score was unmatched. Throughout his entire life, his love for the game of basketball never waned.
Aside from basketball, he also enjoyed tennis, singing, dancing, and doing karaoke at home with his family. Most importantly, he loved to laugh and have fun with his grandchildren.
He will forever be in our hearts and will be missed greatly by all of his family and friends.
