Delfina G. Gonzalez, 71, of Falfurrias, Texas, passed away on November 13, 2017 in Houston, Texas.

Delfina was born in Falfurrias, Texas to David Z. Garza and Lucia Rodriguez.  Before retirement, she served the Brooks County community as an audio visual technician at the Ed Rachel Memorial Library for over 20 years.  Her favorite past time was cooking and being surrounded by her family.  She enjoyed short travels to South Texas, where she visited her sisters.

Delfina is preceded in death by her husband Leonel of 51 years and her parents David and Lucia; two brothers Ovidio and Oscar Garza. She leaves six sisters, Gelina, Lucila, Diana, Dilia and Cindy, all of Falfurrias, Texas. She leaves two daughters Corina and Belinda and son Rudy; one son-in-law Erwin and four grand children Dante, Emme, Anna and Brooke, all of Houston, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home on Saturday, November 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., in Houston, Texas.
