Donald Ray Kegler

Donald Ray Kegler, 59, of Cypress, passed away on November 24, 2019 in
Cypress.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, November 29th at
Cypress-Fairbanks funeral home.

Donald was born in Harlingen, TX to Olivia and Arrie Kegler, Sr on February 25,
1960. He went to school in Dallas. He married Brenda on July 5th in Bicester,
England. He was a veteran of the Air Force and was awarded good conduct medal
with one oak leaf cluster, longevity service award ribbon and outstanding unit
award.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Olivia and Arrie and his older brother
Arrie, Jr.

Donald is survived by his spouse Brenda; his children: Michele, Misty, Donald,
Darryl, Mica and Douglas, his sisters Alice and Cathy, his brother Michael; several
grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild as well as 1 on the way.

shut your eyes and pray to God that I’ll come back but open your eyes and see all
that I have left behind.

I know your heart will be empty because you cannot see me but still I want you to
be full of the love we shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live only for yesterday or your can be
happy for tomorrow because of what happened between us yesterday.

You can remember me and grieve that I have gone or you can cherish my memory
and let it live on. You can cry and lose yourself, become distraught and turn your
back on the world or you can do what I want - smile, wipe away the tears, learn to
