She attended Galena Park High School where she was a member of the Jacketeers Drill Team.

After high school, Faye began her career with Humble Oil, where she made life-long friends and met her husband, Rick Miller. 39 years later she retired from EXXON as an account manager in Lubricants and Distributions.

In retirement, Faye enjoyed having coffee or lunch with friends, traveling, and most of all – spending time with the grandkids.

Faye is survived by her husband Rick Miller, daughter Katie Kaisinger, daughter Kelly Bowerman and husband Scott, son Stephen Miller and wife Lauren, and niece Anita Hoffpauir. She will be deeply missed by her grandkids: Kira, Emma, Zoe, Lincoln and Baby Miller.  She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Peyton and Lena Pearl Duke. Her brothers and sisters: Norma, Juanita, TJ, Kenny and David.

Faye had a love for children and helping others, in lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to Foundry Church or Cy-Hope.
