Elizabeth Helen Tomek

Mrs. Elizabeth Tomek went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2018.  Elizabeth (“Spunky”) was born June 13, 1924 in Saalfelden, Austria.  Spunky loved adventure like skiing in the Alps, mountain climbing, and traveling the world.  A college graduate, in business her career spanned banking, hotel management, medical, the energy field, and even fashion modeling.  Her devotion to her family was enormous, loving, and kind. 

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents Georg Krimbacher & Paula Krimbacher; her husband Bohumil Tomek, brother Georg Krimbacher; her twin sister Annie Gratzer; daughter Vera and great nephew Palle Gratzer.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Goodman & husband Joe Goodman, Brigitte Tomek, fiance Chester Kulhanek and stepson Christopher Kulhanek; grandsons Michael Goodman and his wife Holly, Mason McCollum & wife Ashley; great grandsons Logan Goodman and Sebastian McCollum.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home, 9926 Jones Road, Houston, Texas 77065.  The graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, December 3, 2018 at Houston National Cemetery.
