Enedelia Garza

Enedelia Garza died peacefully at Methodist Willowbrook Hospital on September 24, 2021 in Houston, Texas at the age of 82.

Enedelia is survived by her 3 children; Francisco Javier Garza, Luis Humberto Garza, and Monica D. Zarate. She is preceded in death by her husband; Francisco Garza and daughter; Ada Rodriguez. Enedelia was born on March 20, 1939 in Ciudad Mier, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Santos Mercado and Ofelia Ramos. Enedelia enjoyed traveling, gardening, shopping, and playing slot machines. She loved to have her hair, makeup and nails done. She cared dearly for her parrots and dogs. Despite living with ALS- Lou Gehrig's disease for 23 years, she had an immense will to live, and lived every day to the fullest, a true warrior. She always found joy in her life and loved her husband of 60 years, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren unconditionally.  She will never be forgotten, leaving her loving memories in our hearts forever.

 A viewing is scheduled for 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday October 2, 2021 at Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home. Mass will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church at 10:00 a. m. on Sunday October 3, 2021, with burial to follow at Carmen Nelson Bostick Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Enedelia’s life.
