Enid Viola Lindsay

Enid Viola Lindsay (Mommy) was born 17th January 1931 to James & Letisa Muirhead in the Parish of St Catherine Jamaica.

She was brought up in a Christian home which lead her to instill Christian principal & values to everyone she encountered. She was a devoted intercessor.  Enid graduated from Point Hill High School and then completed training in Fashion Designing which she had a passion for, which lead her to start her own business in this field.

Enid went to London England in her early twenties and got married.  During her stay in London, England she continued with her fashion designing and also started her own tea shop.

She returned to Jamaica in the 50s and continues raising her family there.  Enid was widowed after 35 years of marriage.

Enid came to the USA in the year 2000 to retire with her family and became a member of Lake Wood church which she looked forward to attending whenever the doors were opened.

Mommy was an excellent cook, devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and a friend to everyone she encountered.  Mommy left a legacy, made a footprint in the sand and the world is a better place with Mommy being here.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Joyce, Peter, Cleopatra, Phillip, Linda, Maxine, Glenroy and Dianne; grandchildren, Robert, Marlon, Stephen, Natasha, Andre’, Sean, Lisa-Ann, Vervet, Kadeen, Clive, Miya, Tamara, Gregory and Colin; great-grandchildren, Anenisa, Teddy, Malachi, Larissa, Tashana, Buggs, Veronica, Madison and Zachary; sisters, Icilda, Balzila, Lynette and Pearl; brother, Vincent.
