Eufemia Quintero Ramirez Viuda de Sánchez, un alma dulce bella y virtuosa, nació el 16 de Septiembre de 1937 en Rancho El Tule, Tierra Nueva, San Luis Potosí, México de padres Brigida Ramirez Montero y Fidencio Quintero Rivera. De niña hasta el fallecimiento de sus padres, siguió siendo una cuidadora dedicada a sus padres. A la edad de 25 años, se casó con su alma gemela, Juan Sánchez Martínez, y se mudó a El Fuerte, Santa María del Río, San Luis Potosí, donde vivió la mayor parte de su vida. Eufemia deja a su hija, María Hipólita Sánchez Quintero, hijos, Juan Sánchez Quintero y Manuel Sánchez Quintero, sobrinas de Sanchez Ventura, 14 nietos y varios bisnietos. Le precedieron en la muerte su amado esposo, Juan Sánchez Martínez en 1970 y su hijo, Gonzalo Sánchez Quintero en 1967. Disfrutaba ser una madre cariñosa y afectuosa, católica devota, ama de casa, cantando a sus bandas favoritas, tejiendo, cocinando los mejores tamales y el mas sobroso mole de Mexico, cuidando de sus gallinas, cerdos y sus leales perros: Capulina y Dookie. Eufemia se quedó viuda a los 33 años, lo que la impulsó a mudarse a la Ciudad de México, donde trabajó de manera independiente e incansable para mantener a sus hijos y padres durante muchos años. En los años que siguieron, marcó una diferencia en su pueblo, El Fuerte, al ayudar a los necesitados y curar a los enfermos mediante fisioterapia. Durante los últimos 7 años de su vida, viajó muchas veces a Houston, TX para pasar tiempo de calidad con su hija y varios miembros de su familia hasta su último aliento el 16 de agosto de 2021. Eufemia fue y siempre será recordada como una heroína. A pesar de los desafíos, pruebas y tribulaciones que enfrentó a lo largo de su vida, nunca dejó que su fuego se extinguiera. Valientemente, siguió adelante en la vida; dejando así a sus seres queridos un legado de perseverancia, integridad, virtud, valor y heroísmo.

Eufemia Quintero Ramirez Widow of Sanchez, a sweet, beautiful, virtuous soul, was born on September 16, 1937 in Rancho El Tule, Tierra Nueva, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to parents Brigida Ramirez Montero and Fidencio Quintero Rivera. As a young girl until the passing of her parents, she remained a dedicated caregiver for her parents. At the age of 25, she married her soul mate, Juan Sanchez Martinez, and moved to El Fuerte, Santa Maria Del Rio, San Luis Potosi where she lived most of her life. Eufemia leaves behind her daughter, Maria Hipolita Sanchez Quintero, sons, Juan Sanchez Quintero and Manuel Sanchez Quintero, her Sanchez Ventura nieces, 14 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Juan Sanchez Martinez in 1970 and her son, Gonzalo Sanchez Quintero in 1967. She enjoyed being a loving and nurturing mother, devout Catholic, homemaker, singing to her favorite bands, cooking the best tamales and the most delicious mole in all of Mexico, sowing, tending her chickens, pigs, and her loyal dogs—Capulina and Dookie. Eufemia became a widow at age 33, promoting her to move to Mexico City where she independently and tirelessly worked to provide for her children and parents for many years. In the years that followed, she made a difference in her town, El Fuerte, by helping those in need and healing the ill through physical therapy. Throughout the last 7 years of her life, she traveled many times to Houston, TX to spend quality time with her daughter and several family members until her last breath on August, 16th 2021. Eufemia was and will always be remembered as a Heroine. Despite the challenges, trials and tribulations she faced throughout her life, she never let her fire be extinguished. Courageously, she pressed forward in life; thus, leaving her loved ones a legacy of perseverance, integrity, virtue, valor, and heroism.
