Francisco Argueta was a caring husband, brother, father, grandson, cousin, nephew, friend and protector to many. God granted his angel wings on September 10, 2021 at the age of 36.
Francisco was better known as Frank, Dada, Frank the Tank, Paco, Paquito, or Honey Bun. His story begins on February 16, 1985, the oldest child to Francisco & Nancy Argueta. When Frank was still very young, the family left Monterrey, NL Mexico and moved to Houston, TX. Houston would be his home, the place where he grew up, made many lifelong friends and (sometimes) went to school. Frank admired his father and wanted to be like him, so he married a Nancy of his own. Together, they had two beautiful children of their own, Isabella and Madison.
He spent most of his adult years employed as a CNC machinist. He had many interests which included spending time with his family, having game nights, watching movies, cooking delicious food, and shaking his big ole butt any chance he had. Never one for fuss, he preferred black t-shirts and camo. He would be so happy to see many of you have embraced his sense of style today.
If you knew Frank, you knew his greatest loves were family, friends and food. It was the love of his favorite things that lead him to what he described as the greatest time of his life. He became the owner of Tacos La Abuela, it was here where he found his true calling. He was in his zone cooking crawfish and up to his elbows in tacos, it was evident in his smile.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Argueta; and his grandparents: Ascencion Argueta, Maria del Carmen Tirado Argueta, and Sigifredo Flores Hernandez.
He is survived by his two precious daughters: Isabella and Madison; his wife, Nancy Argueta; his brother, Jonathan Argueta; his mother, Nancy Argueta; his grandmother, Olga Flores (aka La Abuela); and many tios, tias and cousins.
Frank left us only once his life’s mission had been completed, to reunite his friends and family. He loved us all and wanted everyone to get along and because we love him back – we shall miss him and honor him in our memory every day.
In lieu of flowers, order tacos from your favorite food truck – he would have wanted that.
