Heather Danielle Ariel Bartholomew passed away Thursday, December 30th, 2021, Heather Bartholomew; loving mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 25. She was born on January 22nd, 1996 in Houston, Texas to Eric Glenn Bartholomew and Carole Jean Totten.
Heather grew up in the Spring area and attended Spring High School. She was actively working on bettering her life so she could independently take care of her 5-year-old son whom she loved very much. Heather enjoyed reading, writing music, singing, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. She had a deep love for animals and was always the first to volunteer to care of any family or friends’ pets recovering from procedures or surgeries. Heather enjoyed being outside and exploring the nature that surrounded her and the Spring area. She enjoyed visiting the beach and looking for treasures and wildlife in the sand and jetties in Galveston. She grew up surrounded by her cousins and siblings who became her closest friends and supporters. Heather was admired by all who knew her for her beauty and passion. Heather was a loving, loyal and trustworthy friend, often coming to the defense of or rescue of anyone she cared about.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved son Nathaniel (Potato) Lee Alvarado, her loving mother and step-mother Carole and Roxanne Totten; her father and step-mother Eric Bartholomew and Melody Fetter; her step-mother and confidant Wendy (Wee Wee) Cranmer, her loving aunt Susan Stephenson, her loving grandfathers Judson (Opa) Burchfield, Ken (Papa) Bartholomew, her grandmother Charlene (Granny) Zimmerman, her siblings; Christina Sims (Sissy), Glenn Bartholomew (Bubba), Ruthie Ney and Abbygayle (Little Sis) Fetter; her cousins, who were like siblings; Wesley Englishbee, Daniel Stephenson and Holly Stephenson.
Heather’s time on this earth was much too short and she leaves behind family and friends who will cherish her memory for many years to come.
