Heather was born on December 25, 1978 to Dave and Shirley Hammonds in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She passed away on March 24, 2021 at the age of 42. Heather grew up and received her education in Bartlesville. She attended Oklahoma Christian University and Abilene Christian University, graduating there in May, 2002.
Heather married her best friend, Sidney Williams on June 25, 2004. They had 3 beautiful children, Baylor (15), Sutton (12) and Kinsley (10). Her family was her life.
From the time Heather was little, she loved babies and children. That love of children would lead to her career as a teacher. She would go on to teach in Oklahoma and Texas. She loved teaching! She loved children and they loved her. She had a positive impact on countless lives.
Heather loved sports and went to college on a soccer scholarship. She loved all sports but especially football. She loved attending whatever sport her children were involved in. She was a super mom!
Heather loved people. She made everyone feel like they were her best friend.
A terrible disease may have taken her from us but it only took her body. Heather was a follower of Christ. She had great faith! She believed in the hope of the resurrection of Jesus and it’s that hope that comforts us. We will never see her again on this earth but we will see her again!
She is survived by her husband, Sidney and their children, Baylor, Sutton and Kinsley, of the home, her parents, Dave and Shirley Hammonds of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, one brother, Shawn and his wife, Amy and their son, Easton of Bartlesville and thousands of friends and family who loved her.
