James “Lonnie” Crawford, age 70, passed away at his home late Monday, May 15th, 2017.

He is survived by his wife, five children, eight grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a large extended family.

Lonnie, a proud Vietnam War veteran, served his country in the U.S Army from 1967-1968. He left the world with a lasting effect on many people. He loved to tell stories and would always leave you with a joke. His greatest gift to the world though, is how many people he has influenced in this world. He was not only a father figure to his own children but to the young men that were under his platoon and people who have worked for or with him.

From me and everyone else you left a lasting impression on, thank you for everything.

You will be missed and you are loved.
