Janet Kay (Schaper) Tharp

JANET K. (SCHAPER) THARP (October 20, 1950 – August 3, 2018)

Resident of Cypress Texas formerly of Wichita Kansas passed away on August 3, 2018.

Janet was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. She began working for State Farm Insurance Company in 1976 and worked as a claim representative, claim estimator, and also worked on the Catastrophe Team.  She retired from State Farm in 2010.

Survivors include daughter, Cathy Bush and husband Butch Bush of Colwich, Kansas. Daughter Christy Alspaw and husband Kevin Alspaw of Cypress, Texas.

Grandchildren: Dylan Bush, Benjamin Alspaw, Nicholas Alspaw, Michael Alspaw and Amanda Frank.

Great grandchildren: Preston, Violet, Lily, Breena, Delaney & Asher

Brothers: Dale Schaper, Jr., Jay Schaper & Phillip Schaper

She was preceeded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Tharp and parents Dale Schaper Sr. & Pearl Fuller Schaper.
