Jay Chandler Shulthiess

Jay Chandler Shulthiess passed away on June 11, 2021 at the age of 67.  Jay was blessed to pass in his home surrounded by his wife and children in his home that he loved with all his music blasting as he loved it.  Jay passed peacefully.

Jay was born in Hartford, CT on March 26, 1954 to Patricia and James Shulthiess.  Jay met and married his wife, Susan Ann Shulthiess, in CT 31 years ago.  Jay was also a loving and proud father to Chandler Thomas, Sarah Marie, Hannah Lynn and Peter James.  Jay is also survived in death by his two brothers; John and Jeffrey Shulthiess, an uncle, Robert Poyer, his wife, Linda, and both his niece and nephew.

Jay was proceeded in death by his father, James Shulthiess of Rockingham, NC, and both his mother Patricia and brother Jerrold of Hartford, CT

We want Jay remembered for his smile and laughter and silly poses.  Jay called them his Sears Roebucks poses (see who’s old enough to remember that)!  For his love of Rockets basketball and his love of all music!  Jay was loved and cherished is our hearts are broken and we miss him.  Jay was our cornerstone.  Rest In Peace my dear Jay!
