Jesse (Earl) Downey

Earl left us for a better place early in the morning of May 8, 2018.

He was born on July 19, 1931 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Jessie Lee Downey and Jose Burnes Downey.

He is survived by his wife, Maggie and sisters, Fay, Juanita, Linda, Wanda and some wonderful brother-in law. He had seven children and twenty-one grandchildren, many of which are in California.

He enjoyed his family, fishing, hunting, searching for arrowheads and making arrowheads (flint knapping).

He served in the Navy and then became a welder/pipefitter. He later opened his own repair shop for sales and service of lawn equipment. He also enjoyed making agility equipment for local people and folks in nearby states.
