Jo-Anne Mary Guadagno

Jo-Anne Mary Guadagno, 76, passed peacefully and was received into her heavenly home with our Lord Jesus on October 12, 2020. She was the beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family, and touched the lives of many relatives and friends.

She was born in Newburgh on November 30th, 1943, graduated from high school in 1961, and then attended the OCC Nursing Program, graduating in 1963.  She married Alex Cuevas in 1964 and they were blessed with three children. Jo-Anne enjoyed working as a nurse for many years and specialized in ER nursing.  She continued working in the nursing field until her retirement in 2012. She also loved to travel, cruise the casinos on her travels, and spending time with her kids, family, and friends. In her later years, Jo-Anne struggled with a number of health issues but always found time to express her love for her family.  Jo-Anne was preceded in death by her son Christopher in 1978, parents Leonard in 1996 and Louise in 1999, and survived by son Eric and wife Margaret Cuevas, daughter Michelle Weyer, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

We praise God for Jo-Anne’s life and the promise of heaven to her and all believers in Christ.
