Joe William Davidson

Joe William Davidson, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, was called to his heavenly home at the age of 82 on Wednesday, April 10, 2024,

Joe was one of the two children born to Eskel and Mildred (Kornegay) Davidson on April 5, 1942 in San Angelo, Texas.

In 1966 he met his future wife, Barbara Jean Foerster, at Dome Shadows in Houston. Barbara and Joe married in 1968 and were blessed with two children, Kristi and Rob.

Joe worked in the oil field services industry for over fifty years driving an eighteen wheeler and splicing cables. Joe will be remembered for being honest, loving, caring, strong-willed and determined.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter Kristi, her husband Glenn Taylor; granddaughter Amanda; sister Ann Cope; three nieces; extended family; and many friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara Jean Davidson and son Rob William Davidson. Rob passed away on December 31, 2023. Joe and Rob touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all that knew them.  They are gone but never forgotten, leaving their memories in our hearts forever.
