John Haskell Clinkscales

Born November 11, 1927 -Died July 29, 2019

John was a wonderful man that was loved and will be missed by his family.  He was the cherished husband of Adelina Clinkscales for fifty-one years.  John spent his childhood in Northern California the only child of George and  Lucille Clinkscales. He grew up hunting and fishing and fishing remained  one of his lifelong passions.  He served proudly during the Korean War in the U.S. Army.

John loved to tell corny jokes.  Holidays with family, friends, and good food also toped his list of favorite things.  God granted him unending patience and kindness which he shared with everyone. His mother taught him to play the piano and he loved to entertain by playing his favorites which often dated back to the good old days of the forties and fifties. He was known in the family for his gifts of $2-dollar bills always sent with a special note. His grandchildren will forever miss those gifts and notes.

He is survived by his wife Adelina Clinkscales, four daughters, Amy Clinkscales, Karen and Greg Espinoza, Cynthia Watts-Mitchell, Clarice Franke , his four grandchildren Chris and Lisa Franke, Michelle and Michelle Chappell-Franke, Deborah and Todd Speranzo, Kathrine Mitchell and five great grandchildren Thomas Franke, Andrew Franke, Steven Franke, Rose Chappell Franke,  and Gabrielle Speranzo. 

We love you, John and your memory with be forever in our hearts.
