Jorge Garcia

Jorge Garcia was born in Plainview, TX to Lazaro and Dora Garcia on August 29th, 1956, and passed away at the age of 66 on Monday, March 13th, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dora Garcia. Jorge is survived by his father, Lazaro, his wife Patricia, his two children Debbie and John Stephen, and his three grandchildren, Cammi, Asher James, and Rane. 

Jorge was born and raised in Texas, living in various other states, but spent a majority of his life living in Corpus Christi, TX, where he married Patirica on June 23rd, 1979, and lived in Houston, TX from 1998 until his passing. He spent a majority of his life preaching and teaching the word of God as a pastor and teacher all over the world, pastoring many churches in Corpus Christi and Houston, as well as teaching Spanish and Church History at Christian schools in Corpus Christi and Houston. He was also a very passionate martial arts instructor in the art of Aikido, traveling to several cities, states and countries teaching at seminars, and also operated a very successful Aikido school in Houston, obtaining the rank of 5th degree black belt. His knowledge, wisdom, sense of humor and love will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

The family has decided to honor Jorge's wishes that there be no funeral or memorial service. It was his desire that all attention and honor be given to Jesus Christ.
