Joseph Lee Smith, Jr.
January 6, 1931 – July 16, 2022

Joseph (“Joe”) Smith was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on January 6, 1931 to Alice Kloetzer Smith and Joseph Leon Smith.  Joe departed this life on July 16, 2022 in Houston, Texas.  Joe was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wilma June Middleton Smith.

Joe is survived by his children, Deborah (Jim) Marsh of Houston, Texas, Melody (Bill) Beaver of Wheeling, West Virginia, Robin (Jeff) Bray of Wheeling, West Virginia, and Steven (Sherrye) Smith of Cummings, Georgia.  Joe is also survived by his sister Joan (Bill) Hazlett, who lives in Florida.  Joe is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, four nephews and other family members too numerous to list.
