Juan Jose Gonzalez

Juan Jose Gonzalez, 69, passed away at his home on Friday, September 11, 2020.

He was surrounded by his 5 children, 4 of 9 grandchildren and his wife of 49 years.

Juan was born on October 15, 1950, in Hargill, Texas. He was the first of seven children of Jose and Guadalupe (Rubio) Gonzalez. Juan loved spending time with his siblings growing up and helping his family as much as possible. His quest for adventure took him across Mexico and the United States for work, exploration, and a life of rich experiences with his family and friends. Juan would help anyone in need at any time of the day no matter where they were or what they needed. He loved to arm wrestle,  sing, and share his funny and loving stories. He often started his sentences with, “Did you know that…?” Juan was a constant source of knowledge and trivia; he was always ready to share his wealth of information.

Juan was a loving husband, caring father, excellent grandfather, dependable brother, grateful son and an overall good friend to the world. Juan was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends, especially his many grandchildren.
