Juanita A. Laramore

Houston — Juanita Rosa Laramore, 72, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 23, 2019 at Kindred Hospital Houston Northwest.

Born and raised in Hearne TX, the daughter of Juanita Flores, she was a lifelong resident of Houston.

In her early years, Mrs. Laramore would give back to her community by working at the local Salvation Army, where she met her late husband, William E. Laramore in 1990. When Juanita wasn’t working she was found creating memories with her children and grandchildren. Her passions were dancing, collecting antiques, and attending mass at Lakewood Church. 

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband William Laramore, and her son Julio Leija Jr.

She is survived by her sons, Tony Leija and wife Patsy, Steve Leija and wife Emma, and Sam Leija; her daughter, Sylvia Ledesma-Balderas and husband Ramiro; 15 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
