Juliana Chine Iwuji

Mrs. Juliana C. Iwuji, 65, of Houston, Texas, transitioned to everlasting life on April 27, 2022. A Service of Songs celebration in her honor will be held at the Notre Dame Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. A repast will be held following the service. 

Mrs. Juliana Iwuji was born in Imo State, Nigeria to Chief Richard Ogu and Virginia Ogu. She received her formal education in both Nigeria and in the United States of America. She attended Texas Southern University and received her baccalaureate degree in Health Administration.  Later, inspired by her love for all children, she become the owner of Future Stars Kids Daycare in Houston, Texas.

She leaves, to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 51 years, Nze Leo Iwuji; her children, Christiana Ijeoma Mahyor of Sugarland, Texas, Anthony Iwuji of Pflugerville, Texas, Thaddeus Iwuji, Sr. and his wife Karen Iwuji of Fort Worth, Texas, Kenneth Iwuji of Houston, Texas, Vincent Iwuji and his wife Jessica Audino-Iwuji of Oakland, California, Theresa Iwuji of Houston, Texas, and 16 grandchildren. Henry Mahyor, Emily Mahyor, Michael Mahyor, Crystal Mahyor, Destiny Mahyor, Timothy Iwuji, Isaiah Iwuji, David Iwuji, Emmanuel Mahyor, Cicily Iwuji, Thaddeus Iwuji, Jr., Elijah Iwuji, Kelechi Iwuji, Joshua Iwuji, Jackson Iwuji, and Charleigh Iwuji.

In addition to her husband, children and grandchildren, Mrs. Juliana Iwuji is also survived by her brother Mr. Alex Ogu of Umueleke, Ehime-Mbano, Imo State, Nigeria and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

She will be remembered for her love of Nollywood movies and church music, her dancing, her affectionate smile and hugs, her commitment to improving the Nigerian community in the USA and in Nigeria, and above all, her strong devotion to God.

Mrs. Juliana C. Iwuji will be missed tremendously by her family, friends, and the Houston Nigerian Community, but we understand she has to go back where she belongs among the angels.

Viewing and Services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Houston, Texas.  Viewing will be at 11:00 am and services will follow at 12 noon.
