Kevin Reed Mesler

On Nov. 2, 2023 Kevin Reed Mesler left this life at the age of 66 after a 3 ½ year courageous battle with colon cancer.  He was surrounded by his family and friends.  

Kevin was born in Tonawanda, New York on April 29, 1957.  He graduated from Tonawanda High School in 1976.  In the early 80’s he came to Houston to find work in the oil pipeline industry.

In 1987 Kevin married the love of his life, Nancy Ulstrup.

Kevin was a life-long fan of the Buffalo Bills, as well as a fan of Chevy corvettes.

Kevin was preceded in death by is parents, Frank and Mildred Mesler.

Left to cherish his memories are, his wife, Nancy, his sister-in law and brother-in-law, Patricia and Richard Douglas, his cousin, Brigid Foran, as well as his life-long friend, Victor Hartsch.  Kevin was a good friend and neighbor to the many people whose lives he touched.  He will be greatly missed by his dogs, Chanel and Sprinkle.

A Celebration of Life for Kevin will be held on November 12, 2023 between 10 to noon at the American Legion Post 654, located at 3105 Campbell Road, Houston, Texas 77080.
