Born and raised in Oklahoma, in and around Oklahoma City. She graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 1987. She received her Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma and then worked with her mom at a Law firm downtown Oklahoma City. After building their dream house in Edmond and the birth of Collin they soon relocated to Houston where she became the mother and homemaker she desired to be. She began to substitute teach at Lamkin Elementary when Collin started school there. She continued to substitute nearly every school day for 9 years thanks to the many friends she made there. Then became a full-time counselor's secretary with Arnold Middle school with an uncanny ability to remember names.
She loved all animals but especially her cats and dogs. She loved to travel, try new recipes, scrapbooking with her mom, loved to read, couponing, watching her recorded television shows. ice cream (especially Braums). She was a Community of Faith kids check in volunteer.
She always put others first and poured into everything she touched. She always practiced frugality except when it came to spoiling Scott and Collin.
