Laura Ann Ossege

Laura Ann Ossege, a long-time resident of Houston, TX was peacefully called home on January 10th, 2021 by her Heavenly Father at the age of 64.

Laura was born on October 13th, 1956 in Chicago and moved with her family to Houston in the early 70’s. She graduated from Waltrip High School in 1974.

Laura spent over 30 years in the Educational Tour Industry working for a wonderful family company that took incredible care of her and her family. 

Laura was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, and mentor who put others before herself. Anyone who knew her felt the warmth of her love and the joy of her spirit. She was a devout Christian with a deep faith in God. Laura was loved immensely by all who knew her.

She led an active lifestyle and loved to dance, travel, and cook. Her true joy was spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed the beach and cherished many trips to her favorite destinations.

Laura is survived by her husband Tony Ossege; daughters Jasmine and Briana Ossege; stepfather Robert Laque; brother Auggie Perez, sister Trisha Sauls (Kerry), sister Terese Bedwell (David), sister Mona Hillman (Roger), sister Leslie Laque, sister Roberta Laque. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Laura was preceded in death by her mother Mary Laque; stepmother Gloria Laque; father Augustine Perez; brothers Michael and Angel.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life for Laura in the near future. More details will be shared on this celebration in the coming weeks.

The family finds peace in knowing she has fulfilled her earthly purpose and they will see her again. May you take comfort in the knowledge that she was welcomed into Heaven with opened arms. Her contagious spirit and tender nature will always be remembered.
