Tribute

Linda Mae Seiling, was born on April 18, 1935. She grew up in Drexel Hill, PA and attended Upper Darby High School and Averett College, spending many happy summers on the New Jersey shores. She worked for Atlantic Petroleum in Philadelphia then married Edwin Seiling Jr., who worked for Gulf Oil. They had two children Edwin III and Kristen.

They moved their family to Houston in the early 1970's and settled in NW Houston in Greenwood Forest, where Linda became engaged in many of the social clubs and activities in the community. One of her favorites was being a part of the Kazoo band! She and her husband were very much a part of the Annual 4th of July festivities, and hosted their very own annual backyard barbeque party and swim. Linda's spirit was full of energy and she always had a beautiful smile to greet anyone who walked through her door. Most of the time during the baseball season, you would find her television or radio tuned to either the Phillies or the Astros. To say she loved baseball would be an understatement.

Her youngest child, Kristen married and had two children, Cody and Jake, whom Linda (affectionately known as Amah), absolutely loved and adored.

Linda passed away on Saturday, September 8th, 2018, after battling Alzheimers for many years. She is suceeded in death by her eldest, Edwin Seiling III, and Kristen Seiling McLimans. Two grandchildren Cody Hendrix, his wife Sara, and Jake McLimans. Her step-grandchildren that she loved as her own, Rusti Hendrix, Molly McLimans and Cora Jane Hendrix. Her big brother that she adored, Robert Dantzer.

Services for her memorial and burial will be Tuesday, September 18th at 11:30am at Cypress Fairbanks funeral home.
