Tribute

Lisa Denise Breithaupt passed from this life on Monday, June 27th, 2022, at the age of 52. She was born on May 20, 1970 to Lonnie and Mary and big sister Lynette.  Sixteen months later with the birth of little sister, Leah, the family was complete.

The family loved animals as there was generally at least one dog and always one or more cats around to play with. Without cell phones and Internet, Lisa and her sisters were forced to play outside most of the time, building forts in the woods or most any other activity they could fine to get into. Vacations were always camping and traveling to many of the national parks, Disney World or Disneyland, the beach or the mountains. Of course, being together for a week or two in one camper did create a need for some alone time. Once back home you could hear 3 doors closing as each sister ran into their rooms.

Even as a child Lisa has always been very empathetic. On one of her school field days, she chose a classmate who had lost one of her legs to compete in the barrel race. I don't think they won, but this was just the beginning of her life's passion for those who would need her.

Lisa attended Cy Fair schools, graduating from Cy Creek High School.  She continued her education, graduating from Sam Houston State. She went on to study and pass the CPA and thus beginning her career.

Lisa met and married Phillip Logan and together they had two beautiful daughters who became the center of both their lives. Lisa was passionate for her children.

Lisa loved her family and friends she never met a stranger, just a friend she hadn't met yet. She tried to spread joy wherever she went. If someone was sad when she saw them, they generally were smiling when she left them.

Lisa left us all too soon!!  She leaves behind a daughter, Jordan Blackstock, and husband Cole, their daughter Rylee Ray and a second blessing to be born in January. Daughter, Sydney Logan, who was also her best friend.  Two grieving parents, her sister Lynette Gary and husband Tom, her sister Leah Edwards and husband Doug, 8 nieces and nephews, two Aunt Lindas, many cousins and friends too numerous to count.

Lisa, we will always miss you and love you so very much.  You cannot begin to Imagine how much you are loved!
