Lois Beatrice Jackson Massie, born April 2, 1927 in Houston, TX, passed away peacefully surrounded by her immediate family on the 2nd day of November, 2019. She was preceded in death by the love of her life John W. Massie also of Houston.

She is also survived by three grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Leslie Morrow Loeser and husband Travis of Houston, Eric Morrow of College Station and Sam Muse and wife Margarita of Sinton. She also treasured her three great grandchildren Evan Loeser, Jackeline Alonso and John Muse. She is also survived by her brother Kenneth Jackson of Friendswood and sister Marie Utley of Dickinson as well as many loved nieces and nephews.
She was bestowed the honor of being voted FFA Sweetheart her Senior Year at Navasota HS. She was active as a Girl Scout Leader, Sunday School teacher and volunteered on the Altar Guild and helping out with the rummage sales donating plants and baked goods at Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Our mother excelled in everything she touched whether it was Dad's favorite coconut pies, quilting or the love she had for her flowers and gardening.
She married John in February of 1947 after graduating from Navasota High School. They shared a love story that lasted for 67 wonderful years until John passed in 2014. Life was never quite the same. We know they're dancing in each others arms once again.
