Loretta Raedine Pedrami

On Wednesday, May 25, 2022, Loretta Raedine Pedrami, devoted wife, mother, grandmother (sometimes as DEANIE by her siblings) was called to her heavenly father at the age of 80 after a courageous health battle. She was born and raised in Seminole, Oklahoma to Johnnie and Marjorie Holder on August 14, 1941

Loretta graduated from Seminole Highschool in 1959.  She met her future husband Parviz Pedrami at a junior college in Wilburton Oklahoma in 1965. They were married in Chicago in 1966 nine months later. They then moved to Baton Rouge Louisiana where Parviz finally graduated From LSU in 1973.  Three months later they went to Iran (Parviz’s native country) where Loretta excelled in a new language and culture and became very popular among her husband’s large extended family (Parviz had thirty-five cousins).  The family returned to Louisiana three years later.  They welcomed four beautiful children to their home throughout the years.  Loretta was known to give from the heart in raising the children until Parviz encouraged her to go back to school to get her masters in Anthropology from LSU.  She enjoyed working teaching English in Lake Charles Louisiana until they moved to Houston in 2016.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 56 years Parviz Pedrami, son Paris Pedrami (and wife Erin); daughters Jimmie Elaine Pedrami Cella (and husband Bruce); Dena Rauof (and husband Majid); Parveen Esmaeilzadeh (and husband Ali); grandchildren Pheonix Pedrami, Kayla Rauof, Naveed, and Nava Esmaeilzadeh; and siblings Glen, Jimmy, and Max Azlin, Theresa Smith, Danny and Mike Holder, and Ethelene Huck and spouses and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is gone but never forgotten, leaving her loving memories in our hearts forever.
