Manuel Atilano

Manuel “Manny” Atilano, a Graduate of Austin High School, University of Texas El Paso, and New Mexico State University passed away on November 20, 2020. Manny was a life-long educator who taught elementary school children in various cities and towns in Texas for 24 years. His joy of camping in Texas campgrounds and showing his classic chevy allowed him to meet and befriend many people in the state as Manny and his puppies Matty and Jackie traveled throughout the state.

Manny is survived by his loving partner Eva Resendez, his mother Francisca “Quica” Atilano, and brothers Jose Lauro, Alfonso, and Jorge Atilano.  Manny is survived also by his beloved nieces and nephew Dolores, Cindy, Amanda, Olivia, Andrew and Alyssa.  Preceded in death by his father Jose Lauro Atilano, Sr. and nephew Christopher Atilano.
